Christmas Spirit.... Kind of

                                                                     Hey guys,

I am so excited for Christmas it isn't literally unbelievable but I am also so sad for it to end because, I get so excited for this time of year in like August/September and the month always goes by so fast and I always feel like I get nothing done in time (even though I hardly have anything to do). But I always say at the beginning of months what I am going to do and how long I have for them and some months I will complete them but then when it comes to December I literally only complete homework that I may have to do but that's about it (obviously Christmas shopping as well).

I have always dreamed of what my house would be like when I'm older. I would always put the lights in the rooms and I would have this big tree with like white glass ornaments, with warm lights on it which I would probably put on twinkle mode as they are so magical. I love the garlands on the fireplace with the lights amounts them and candles at the ends of the fireplace.

Anyway, I have always loved this time of year and I always love the Christmas decorations that are in streets and when you drive past houses and see the decorations that they have used. It always makes me feel more Christmassy and cosy even when it is freezing outside. I adore the strolls that me and my family would have just going around the shops.

I appreciate it when I get to go shopping for what I want for Christmas. But it can get a bit stressful when you can find something that you wanted for likes but I always find a way around it as I just find another thing to get which is like it or that I would love to get for Christmas. I am lucky that I get what I have as others either don't get anything or barely anything. I wish that Christmas spirit was still as powerful as it used to be.

Christmas Films!

Hey guys,

I was thinking of some Christmas blog posts I could upload and then I thought, I haven't stopped watching Christmas films so I could just talk about my favourites. I have always loved Christmas films and I don't know how some people don't. They are so festive and great to put on in the background and thy can make you so Christmassy.

I can't remember not watching at leas a hand full of Christmas films each year. Me and my oldest sister always just to watch 'Twas The Night Before Christmas' on Christmas Eve before they stopped playing it. We would always go downstairs and have a blanket and watch it and it would always excite me so much because it reminded me that Christmas Day was the next day and I would always struggle to sleep but I would try to sleep so hard because then the night would go by fast and I would wake up at like 6:30 - 7:00 AM.

Anyway, there is quite a few Christmas films that I love to watch and I have basically watched since I can remember. I will always remember the excitement I had when realising that I could start watching Christmas films, it was like I was given the best present in the world.

A few of the Christmas films I love to watch are:
  1. The Grinch - Ron Howard
  2. Elf - Jon Favreau
  3. Nativity! - Debbie Isitt
  4. Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger - Debbie Isitt
  5. Nativity 3: Dude, Where's My Donkey? - Debbie Isitt
  6. Arthur Christmas - Sarah Smith and Barry Cook
  7. Santa Clause - John Pasquin
  8. The Santa Clause 2 - Michael Lembeck
  9. The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause - Michael Lembeck
  10. The Muppet's Christmas Carol - Brian Henson
  11. Home Alone - Chris Columbus
  12. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York - Chris Columbus
  13.  Jack Frost - Troy Miller

I know there is quite a few there but I did try and bring the list down. If you have watched any of these films below or have any recommended comment them below and your thoughts of them.
Hope you liked this update and if you have any ideas that you want me to do just put them below

Decorating for Christmas

Hey Guys,

today was the day we decorated the house. We decided to go for a frosted blue kinda theme and I am in love with it. There was a mix of different bobbles from bears to snowflakes and icicles, there were even acorns. My favourite bobble is the acorn one because it is so different yet so cute.

There are loads of photos but I did cut them down from the amount I actually have. I am literally so in love with this years Christmas decorations and I think I feel a little more Christmassy which I didn't think would be possible because I love Christmas so much, it's probably because I'm so excited for all of my Christmas presents (which I will be doing a blog post about).

It took us like 3 hours to do everything because we had to put the bobbles on the string and they were so fiddly. I especially adore it when it is dark and the lights are shinning all around your house it's just amazing (I'm having trouble putting them on the blog post at the minute so I will try and get them up asap.

Christmas Songs

Hey guys,

I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. It only feel like I was saying happy new year to everyone yesterday and dreading the day I had to go back to school.

Anyway, I have decided to talk to Christmas music non stop since like end of October / start of December. They have been one of my favourite things about Christmas since I can remember. I always love it when 'Heart Christmas' comes on the music channel as it is always on whenever I have the TV remote.

I will always love the old classic music as they are the ones I have grown up loving and they feel more like Christmas music to me, One of my favourite things to do around Christmas time is blare the music in my room or in any room I'm in and just sing my heart out to them because it makes me feel so happy. I hate whenever Christmas ends as that means Christmas songs have to end for another year. My family believe in the bad luck if you listen to Christmas music before Christmas.

Some of my favourite Christmas songs are (it was a struggle to shorten the list)

  1. Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You
  2. Micheal Bublé - Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)
  3. Boney M. - Mary's Boy Child
  4. Frank Sinatra - Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
  5. The Pogues - Fairytale Of New York
  6. Cliff Richard - Mistletoe And Wine
  7. Shakin' Stevens - Merry Christmas Everyone
  8. The Muppet's Christmas Carol - One More Sleep Til Christmas
  9. Tom Jones and Cery Matthew - Baby It's Cold Outside
  10. Justin Bieber - Mistletoe
  11. Ariana Grande - Santa Tell Me

I know that might not look like its cut down but if I put down all of the songs that I love then there would be like 50 of them. That's all for today. There will either be a blog post up tomorrow or on 5th as I am decorating tomorrow so there will be lots of pictures to post.
( P.S. I was listening to Christmas music while writing this post )

Hope you enjoyed this update. I realised the other day how much I missed putting up blog posts and I'm going to try and post more often xx

Birthday!

Hey guys,
So last week was my birthday and I had the best time ever with my family. I don't think I have ever spent a birthday with my grandparents as well as the parents and siblings. I went out for a meal with them all and it was amazing.

We went out for dinner, I ordered the 'triple chicken' which was delicious and for dessert I got the 'Rocky horror' ice cream which was mouth-watering. It was probably one of the best birthdays I have ever had because of the family time we had and it was just a really happy atmosphere.

Today my friend Hana came down and gave me my birthday presents, she bought me the necklace, aero and diary milk which I am very happy about. The necklace is absolutely stunning it was a dark red but in some light it looked quite black and I just adore it so much.

My parents were also very kind as they bought me the Twenty One Pilots hoodie and the Twenty One Pilots cd's.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post and hopefully I will be posting more.
If you want to watch my YouTube Videos you can go and to this link which is my channel.
I love you all so much
